Local energy systems

We develop local energy systems connecting businesses, residential buildings, hospitals and public infrastructure. We match demand with opportunities for generation, storage and flexibility, then structure investment, contracts and operation around a defined benefit for each participant.

01

Mapping assets and consumers

We inventory buildings, rooftops, land, local generation and consumption points. We establish asset rights, existing contracts and owners’ readiness to collaborate. This provides the basis for selecting a portfolio that can be developed and financed through a coordinated process.

02

An energy balance over time

We compare generation and demand profiles, allowing for seasonality and different operating hours. We assess solar PV, other renewable sources, heat, storage and demand management. The annual balance is supported by an analysis of when energy is available and when participants need it.

03

Local PPAs and participation agreements

We assess power purchase agreements, Polish energy cooperatives, clusters and combined arrangements. Legal and technical partners help verify supply, connection and settlement conditions. We define the roles of asset owners, consumers, investors, energy suppliers and the programme operator.

04

Operation and portfolio development

We establish responsibility for data, maintenance, settlement and reporting. The economic model includes operating costs and benefit allocation. We define an initial investment phase and conditions for admitting further participants after the first results have been assessed.

Project deliverable

An asset map, an energy balance, a legal and financial model, operator responsibilities and the scope of an initial investment phase.

Where we start

Interested organisations, locations and consumption points, demand profiles, available generation and planned investments.

Before starting a project

Does a local energy system have to be a cooperative?

The organisational structure follows from the participants and intended collaboration. We compare cooperative, cluster and contractual arrangements, then verify legal and technical conditions and management costs for the selected option.

What determines the savings for participants?

Demand and generation profiles, prices and contract terms, investment costs, financing and system operation. We assess individual participants and the overall portfolio, including sensitivity to changes in the main assumptions.

Start with the assets you have.

Tell us about a building, portfolio or local initiative. Identify the participants and current stage. We will establish the data needed for an initial assessment.
